Many people who work downtown can't afford to live in LoDo. But in November, the non-profit Colorado Coalition for the Homeless will break ground on the Off Broadway Lofts, an 81- unit loft apartment complex near Coors Field, at the edge of LoDo.

A third of the units will be reserved for homeless people and the remainder earmarked for people earning less than $37,260 per year. Monthly rents will range from $285 to $600.

Renaissance Housing Development Corp., a subsidiary of the Coalition for the Homeless, has received $647,488 in federal affordable housing tax credits from the Colorado Housing Finance Authority for the project at 2135 Stout St.
