But since the market is no longer down, the building was recently put up for sale, and just as quickly moved. The Bayonne, NJ-based William F. Connors Agency has just sold the property to an unnamed buyer for an undisclosed price.,

And the building may have a life beyond the garment business. It sits atop the Palisades with great views of Manhattan and is well located in New Jersey's burgeoning Hudson River Gold Coast area, so the new owner is said to be contemplating converting it into upscale residences, according to broker William F. Connors III.
