Judge Rejects Residents' Thrust to Stop 5 Mil. SF BellSouth Mixed-Use Project

ATLANTA-A Fulton County Superior Court ruling clears the site for the construction of two office towers on three acres of the 47-acre venture near the Lindbergh MARTA station, about seven miles north of Downtown Atlanta.

After a three-week delay, the Fulton County Superior Court gave BellSouth the go-ahead to carry on with the building of the two office towers on three acres of its 47-acre mixed-use development near the Lindbergh MARTA station, about seven miles north of downtown Atlanta.

Residents of the adjacent Garden Hills neighborhood had hoped to stop construction on the five million-sf project which includes offices, retail and residential development.
