Pittsburgh-Area Aircraft Refurbishing Firm Lands 16,830 SF Structure in Great Southwest

A Pittsburgh-area aircraft refurbishing firm is setting up its first out-of-state operation in the Dallas suburb of Grand Prairie, where it’s leasing 16,830 sf of warehouse/distribution space for a soon-to-be-hired workforce of about 20 employees. The company is gearing up for a Friday startup.

Air Excellence Inc., an FAA-designated repair station, spent nearly a month reviewing area sites that suited its needs – airport convenience without paying airport prices, Eric Gilbert, the Grubb & Ellis broker who sealed the deal, told GlobeSt.com. The Oakdale-based company is paying $4.25 per sf for the structure, owned by Eric M. Hohn, situated in the Great Southwest Industrial Park. Hohn was represented by the Robert Lynn Co. in the transaction.
