"We're going through and matching up all the GIS (Global Information Systems) data ... so you can locate where you are on a map, then lay on top of that (other information) such as income per sf," said a source with one of the companies.
The two companies, both affiliates of San Francisco Internet incubator Camp Six, say the tool will offer four separate parts: a rating system, analytic tools, a communication-coordination system and workflow tracker.
A release date for the product has not been set.
