DENVER-The City of Lakewood, a suburb west of Denver, is planning a $2 million visitors' center, reserving space for exhibits, meetings, workshops, museum store, ticket sales for city events and offices. The site, developed in 1976, consists of 13 historic buildings and an artifacts collection.
