The subsidiary of Uniroyal Technology Corp. now occupies about 12,000 sf at 22660 Executive Dr. in Sterling but needs to expand. It will invest about $30 million in the plant and expects to create about 172 jobs. The company plans to relocate to the new facility in early 2001.
Virginia approved a $500,000 grant to lure Sterling Semiconductor, beating out Connecticut and Florida.
