The four-year-old Wayport will deploy its high-speed Internet access to 224 MeriStar-managed hotels, including well-known brands such as Hilton, Sheraton, Westin, Radisson and Doubletree."This agreement with MeriStar, which is the nation's largest independent hotel management company, underscores our commitment for rapid expansion and availability of the Wayport connection to hotels and major metropolitan airports throughout the country by the end of the year," says Brett Stewart, Wayport CEO.
Wayport recently has launched a wireless service at DFW International Airport and Austin Bergstrom International Airport. Wayport's major hotel chains include Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Sonesta Hotels & Resorts and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
