Aberdeen Golf Village Planned

ABERDEEN, NC-Celebration Associates has formed a strategic alliance with the Pinehurst Co. of Texas to develop a new golf village about 80 miles east of Charlotte.

The Aberdeen project is planned as a pedestrian-oriented community with a clubhouse, retail shops, offices, gardens and walking trails. Celebration Associates' other projects are the Governor's Club, a 2,000-acre development near Chapel Hill, NC; the Village of Baxter, part of the 6,000-acre Clear Springs Plan in Fort Mill, SC; and Reynolds Plantation, a 7,000-acre waterfront and golf community near Atlanta.
