The CA-based Legacy Partners plans to the build the first of what is expected to be a high number of new office buildings in the Central Platte Valley, former railroad yards adjacent to Denver’s Central Business District.

The development area, situated in the midst of a hotbed of residential real estate activity, is being touted as a second downtown and boasting its own neighborhoods. Legacy Partners plans to start construction in first quarter 2001 on a 10-story, 290,000-sf spec structure, Legacy Plaza. Real estate experts estimate a $58 million completed value. The building is being designed with large floorplates, a sure attraction for tenants who would consider suburban buildings, brokers say.
