The site, once the location of the Jefferson Davis Hospital, is just west of downtown Houston. Architects Michael Graves of Princeton, NJ, and the firm of Pierce Goodwin Alexander & Linvilleof Houston will work together to design the structure. The 270,000-sf building is scheduled for completion in about three years. The Federal Reserve Bank has outgrown its downtown building where it has been located since 1958.
