golf club company that will join the likes of Callaway andTaylor Made.Orlimar Golf, headquartered in the Bay Area city of Hayward, is scoutingseveral sites for a long-term lease and plans to move to "the heart ofthe golf equipment industry" within the next three to six months, thecompany says. The firm already has a research and developmentfacility in the North County city of San Marcos.
"The impetus behind the decision to invest in this move is to be closerto our suppliers and to be able to bring new products and innovations tomarket more quickly and efficiently," says Orlimar CEO Bill Kirkendall.
Other golf-related companies in the area include industry giants Callaway and Taylor Made.
