Pelzer is expected to employ about 185 people. The company has three manufacturing plants in the United States, out of a total of 34 worldwide.
The plant is a 115,000-sf facility with nearly 13,000 sf of office space. The property was marketed by David Hinchman and Ken Wasserman of CB Richard Ellis.
Eudora, which is located halfway between Johnson County, KS and Lawrence, KS is one of the fastest growing municipalities in the state. Its population has grown from 4,000 people to nearly 5,000 in the last 10 years.
