"We have no more available space in the park," Scott Ellington, the park's executive director, tells GlobeSt.com. The 52-acre tract is at the north end of FAU's main campus off I-95 and Glades Road. The average rental rate for office/service space in Boca Raton is $12.42 per sf.

Although Ellington expects the university may eventually release additional acreage on the adjacent campus for more R&D park development, he is now planning construction on an FAU site just to the south of Boca Raton at I-95 and 10th Street. in Deerfield Beach. This tract totals 122 acres but can only be built out with another 450,000 sf of R&D facilities because a portion of the parcel must be used for water-retention lakes. Colliers International in Fort Lauderdale is the leasing agent for both parks.
