Joint Venture Undertaking 220,000-SF Medical Professional Building Near Texas Medical Center

HOUSTON-Main-Old Main Joint Venture will construct a 220,000-sf professional building near the Texas Medical Center.

The development group is a joint venture between John Beeson of Houston-based Beeson Properties and Houston developer Ali Ebrahimi. The 17-story building will be leased to physicians and medical-related businesses. A number of hospitals and medical schools operate in the Texas Medical Center, where more than 50,000 people are employed.

The medical building will be constructed on a 1.35-acre site bounded by Main St., Travis and Old Main. Approximately 30,000 sf of retail space will be constructed on the ground floor of the building, which will have the address of 6760 Main St. The building will be stacked atop a multi-level parking garage, with parking for 1, 275 vehicles.
