821st Space Group Initiates $23 Mil Commissary Project

AURORA, CO-Air National Guardsmen are getting a new commissary - a $23 million project that has just broken ground. The facility will open in November 2001.

The facility will include a food court, barber shop, beauty shop, optical shop, credit union, nutrition store, military clothing sales store, alterations shop, floral shop, three-bay garage and gas pumps. The project is a joint effort of the Defense Commissary Agency and the Army/Air Force Exchange Service. The facility is scheduled to open in November 2001.
