The Los Gatos, CA-based company says it has broken a record by capturing a dominant market share in just three months. Operations in Orange County, CA., and Las Vegas also have performed to the same caliber, according to RealCentric.
"For the first time in the commercial real estate industry, an online company has demonstrated the ability to capture critical mass," says Jim Stuart, RealCentric's co-founder and chief executive officer. "Being able to capture a dominant market share in three cities after such a short period of time clearly validates the need for a one-source office solution like RealCentric, and marks a key milestone in the transformation of the commercial real estate industry."
RealCentric, a privately held B2B, has developed an on-line system to simplify and reduce time involved in finding, leasing and outfitting office space. The company plans to expand into San Diego, San Jose/Santa Clara, Dallas, Boston, Northern VA., Atlanta and Tampa, shooting for a 40-market goal by 2001.
