The buyer is listed in King County property records as Seattle Union Station LLC, but the LLC's manager is listed as MIG Corp., which is owned by Keith McCaw. McCaw and his brothers sold McCaw Cellular Communications Inc. to AT&T for $11.5 billion in 1994.

The two buildings--Opus Center West and East--total 333,500 sf. Opus Center West is nine stories tall with 265,000 sf, with tenants that include Andersen Consulting and Amazon.com. Opus Center East is four stories tall with 68,500 sf. Sound Transit is expected to take the space.

A third Opus Center building is under construction. McCaw is reportedly under contract to purchase that building upon completion as well.
