The company plans to open its second NYC outlet in the building, which is in the Soho section, between Spring and Prince Streets. The space had been occupied by the New World Art Gallery.
This area has undergone dramatic changes in the last two years, says William Ilaria, senior director at the Lansco Corp., which represented both Quinto Sol and the owner, the Chen Foundation. For example, he notes that Museum of Modern Art recently opened a store nearby on Crosby Street. Quinto Sol's other store is at 937 Madison Ave.
