Eureka Broadband, a building-centric application service provider and broadband Internet access company, conceived and implemented the idea to lease space in a Downtown office building and then let it themselves to companies looking for high-tech meeting and training session space. The space was completely wired by Eureka. The Think Tank has its own staff, including experts in technology and event planning who will arrange meetings for 10 to 200 people and ensure that all technology needed for presentations or training are up and running.
The space has two conference rooms, two computer training labs and one large seminar room for a total of 13,000 sf. The featured technology includes T3 Internet access, which is reportedly 26 times faster than a T1, NEC flat-screen monitors, laptop friendly plug-in counter tops, electronic whiteboards, instrumentation enhancements and the latest video-conferencing equipment.
Think Tank @ William Street, located at 100 William St., is within walking distance of Downtown's banks, corporate headquarters, bringing the space close to those targeted for its use. The building is owned by Cargill Financial Services.
