City National Bank Opens Silicon Valley Office

PALO ALTO, CA-City National Bank continues its expansion into Northern California this week with a new full-service office in Palo Alto.

The Palo Alto Banking Office provides business lending services and products with a focus on emerging growth companies and their executives. City National’s Technology Group typically seeks companies that have completed their first round of financing with at least $4 million to $5 million in venture capital or investment.<PThe Palo Alto office continues an expansion into Northern California that began earlier this year with City National's acquisition of San Francisco-based The Pacific Bank, N.A. Beth Kinsey, senior vice president and manager of City National's Technology Group, will oversee the technology lending team of the Palo Alto office and expects to add additional banking professionals over the next several months. Kenna Helms, a 26-year veteran in trusts, estate planning and financial services, is senior vice president and manager of the Palo Alto private banking team.
