According to the brokerage firm that has offices in White Plains and Stamford, the vacancy rate for Westchester County is 13.14%, down 0.73% from the second quarter rate, while Fairfield County's rate now stands at 7.62%, an increase of just 0.67% from the end of June of this year.

FMB Real Estate calculates the vacancy rate for Downtown Stamford at 5.55% and 16.75% for the central business district of White Plains.
