New City Hall Getting $4 Mil Interior

MILPITAS, CA-City Council officials are spending $3.89 million for interior finishes to its new City Hall, which will be completed toward the end of 2001.

MILPITAS, CA–Nearly $4 million is being spent to finish out the interior spaces of the new City Hall building under construction here at the intersection of East Calaveras and Milpitas boulevards.

The City Council recently approved eight contracts totaling $3.88 million for interior finish work to the structure, which will be completed toward the end of 2001. Limestone and various types of granite will be used both inside and outside. Beechwood was chosen for the council chambers.
