The new company is starting with a leasing and management portfolio of more than three million sf of industrial, retail and office space. Onyx will employ 30 people.
Langford was the senior vice president of marketing for Koll Corporate Development. Three years ago he was honored with the Stemmons Service Award, presented annually by the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. Wells has been president of Beer-Wells Real Estate, a full-service commercial real estate operation founded in 1952. He also is a director of First Mercantile Bank and chairman of the Richardson YMCA. Gault, an architect, was a vice president of development for Koll.
"By pooling our resources into Onyx Property Co. we will be able to provide the highest level of service to our clients," says Langford. "Each of us brings a different skill set and experience base.
