Three new office buildings are slated for portions of the Quadrant Corp. development, located near the interchange of state Route 18 and Interstate 90. Quadrant is currently constructing a 50,000-sf building to be called Trailside on the south side of the business park. On the eastern side of the development, 8.5 acres recently purchased by Nexus Properties of San Diego is earmarked for two office buildings totaling 152,000 sf.

The southeast corner of the development has recently been purchased by VTL Link, a medical information company that plans to construct a 25,000 sf building for its own use. Next to that site, Quadrant says an Eastside company is under contract for a 4.2-acre parcel on which it plans to construct a building as large as 30,000 sf.

These projects will join existing buildings on the site, which include Optiva Corp's 175,000-sf building in the center, and a fully leased 57,300-sf building that occupies the west side of the development.

Of the remaining land, Quadrant is envisioning a 72,000-sq building for the western side that would be called Evergreen Space, and a corporate campus on the northeastern side that could occupy as much as 500,000 sf.
