The proposed 30-acre Padden Center South would reportedly be home to a 150,000-sf "club warehouse" store. Padden North would include 330,000 sf of commercial development, including a home improvement store. Vancouver building officials could not immediately be reached for further comment.

Others projects in the works include: a 142,800-square-foot Costco store at the southeast corner of Northeast 20th Avenue and 139th Street; Hazel Dell Towne Center, a 285,000-square-foot retail development anchored by a Target store at Northeast 90th Street, west of Interstate 5; and a 200,000-sf commercial project anchored by a Target store at the northwest corner of Mill Plain Boulevard and Southeast 164th Avenue.
