Jean Farris, well known in Dallas commercial real estate circles, has been selected for the new position. She has logged more than a decade in the profession, previously working in senior capacities at Fults Realty and most recently, Jones Lang LaSalle Americas Inc.
Her duties will include overseeing leasing efforts at Harwood International Center, a campus of class-A office buildings located in Uptown, between the Crescent and the new American Airlines Center.
"With one million sf already occupied and over 3 million sf available to support additional development, Harwood represents one of the most exciting projects in the city," says Farris. The 185,000-sf Harwood International Center Phase II at 2728 N. Harwood in Uptown Dallas, was the first building in the nation to rate the highest possible score of 99 on the Energy Star energy efficiency benchmark, and the first in Texas to earn the Energy Star Label for Buildings. Harwood has been named the EPA Energy Star Partner of the year for 2000 and holds numerous awards for landscaping and environmental improvements initiatives.
