Tri-National Development Corp. will be using its wholly owned Mexican subsidiary, Planificacion Desarollos de Jatay, SA de CV, for the effort. To date, the company has sold 40 lots in the past year, 35 of which have been bought by shareholders.
Vinas de Bajamar is the first phase of development of the company's Hills of Bajamar property. The project will include 1,100 residential homes surrounding an 18-hole golf course with clubhouse and 100-room hotel boasting several hundred thousand sf of commercial space.Vinas de Bajamar consists of approximately 1,000 acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The company is selling the first 100 lots with utilities starting at $20,000 each. Tri-National will retain exclusive management and construction contracts for the hotel, golf course, commercial buildings and single-family homes.
