Spieker Chief Elected NAREIT President

MENLO PARK, CA-Warren E. "Ned" Spieker Jr., chairman of Spieker Properties will head up the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts' board of governors.

Ned Spieker assisted in the formation of Spieker Properties from Spieker Partners in 1993. From 1970 to 1987, Ned served as the managing partner and a board member of Trammell Crow Company. Spieker Properties owns and operates approximately 41 million sf of commercial real estate in California and the Pacific Northwest.
