Thomas S. Bozzuto, chief executive officer of the Bozzuto Group, Greenbelt, MD has been named chairman of the Multifamily Executive Leadership Board.

NAHB created the board, which is composed of apartment builders, developers, owners, lenders and managers after its 1999 decision to promote multifamily housing production more aggressively and its value in smart growth.

Bozzuto has experience in this issue. He has publicly advocated the role home builders can play. Also, Bozzuto Group was one of the developers that contributed to creating King Farm, an award-winning, mixed-use community in Rockville, MD that was developed by Pritzker Residential.
