Shawnee Director of Economic Development Resigns

SHAWNEE, KS- Charley Vogt resigns after five years. He is credited with bringing tenants to the west side industrial parks.

SHAWNEE, KS-Charley Vogt, the economic development director for the city has resigned effective immediately citing personal and familyreasons.

He had led the Shawnee Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic DevelopmentCouncil for the past five years. Prior to working in Shawnee, he hadserved in a similar position for eight years for the Olathe, KSChamber of Commerce.
