The Lake Oswego-based retail developer this morning confirmed negotiations that would bring in a host of retail stores including Nordstrom Rack and Recreational Equipment Inc. and a large-format restaurant chain out of California called Claim Jumpers that has not yet entered the Oregon market. Staples, Borders Books & Music and Linens & Things are also said to be negotiating for space, along with several others.

An 18-screen movie theater planned for the development has been put on the back burner, reportedly because of a glut of new movie screens in the city. MBK Northwest president Mason Frank was not immediately available for comment.

Significant regional projects include the 800,000 sf Jantzen Beach SuperCenter here, the 650,000 sf Parkway SuperCenter in Tukwila, WA and SeaTac Village, a 350,000 sf retail center in Federal Way, WA
