McCarthy O'Callaghan Co. of White Plains represented Framework in the deal. Newmark & Company Real Estate Inc., of Greenwich negotiated for the building owner, 303 South Broadway Partners.
Until now, Framework had occupied approximately 11,000 sf at the five-story, 180,000 sf building. No financial details on the deal were released.
Chris O'Callaghan, a principal of McCarthy O'Callaghan, says that Framework chose to expand at 303 South Broadway due to the convenience of I-287 (the Cross Westchester Expressway), I-87 (the New York State Thruway) and the Saw Mill River Parkway. He notes that the company felt the building offered an ideal location for its employees' commutation needs.
Framework offers its "LendWare" system, which automates the entire on-line mortgage loan transaction from origination to closing. According to company officials, it also streamlines various segments of the loan process, such as underwriting, due diligence, documents, compliance and processing.
