"I will help develop the tools and marketing to helpthem develop their core competencies," says Mosborg.Park Midwest was formed late last year through themerger of Park Commercial, based in Edina, MN, andMidwest Management Services, based in Golden Valley,MN. Park brought its brokerage expertise, whileMidwest Management brought its management anddevelopment skills.
Park Commercial also brought to the merger itsaffiliate with Chain Links, a national network ofretail real-estate brokers with offices in 30 citiesnationwide."I think we can use that affiliation to serve localclients who are looking for more regional or nationalexpansion, or clients outside our area looking to comein here," Mosborg says.
The resulting firm, now based in St. Louis Park, MN,has about 18 employees and focuses on the Twin Citiesmarket. Park Midwest manages or leases about 1.75million sf of multi-tenant facilities, and its clientsinclude a variety of restaurant and retail chains.Mosborg is president-elect of the Minnesota ShoppingCenter Association. He was recently director of storedevelopment for Grow Biz International, a 1,200-storefranchise chain based in Golden Valley, MN.
