Leading the activity at I-290 was USCO Logistics, which leased 87,000 sf at 450 Whitney St. to support its work in the field of logistic solutions. Fons, a provider of fiber-optic components, leased 81,000 sf of manufacturing and office space at 30 Forbes Rd. The single-story facility will serve as Fons' US manufacturing operations. The company was represented by Chris Deveaux of Parsons Commercial Group.
Other significant leases included RMP of New England (74,000 sf at 444 Whitney St.), Future Electronics (58,000 sf at 20 Forbes Rd.) and Pennzoil/Quaker State (22,000 sf at 10 Forbes Rd). Spaulding & Slye senior vice president William Bailey and vice president Philip DeSimone represented STRS in all the transactions.
