I-290 Industrial Park Leases 345,000 SF

NORTHBOROUGH, MA-The six-building park, owned by the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio pension fund, has been the focus of a dedicated leasing program by Spaulding & Slye Colliers.

NORTHBOROUGH, MA-Wrapping up an aggressive leasing campaign, Spaulding & Slye Colliers has brokered 345,000 sf of leases in the past few months at the I-290 Industrial Park. The six-building, 500,000-sf complex is owned by the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio, a pension fund active in Greater Boston’s commercial real estate market.

Leading the activity at I-290 was USCO Logistics, which leased 87,000 sf at 450 Whitney St. to support its work in the field of logistic solutions. Fons, a provider of fiber-optic components, leased 81,000 sf of manufacturing and office space at 30 Forbes Rd. The single-story facility will serve as Fons’ US manufacturing operations. The company was represented by Chris Deveaux of Parsons Commercial Group.
