Developers Eye Opportunity Highway

CATAWBA COUNTY, NC-North Carolina's US 321, a four-lane highway connecting Interstate 40 in Catawba County with Interstate 85 to the south, has sped up the commute to Charlotte.

CATAWBA COUNTY, NC-The rerouting of US 321, begun in 1998, has not gone unnoticed by developers looking to capitalize on what is becoming more of a high-profile corridor of opportunity.

Plans are in the development stages for three of the four US 321 interchanges. Cansler Crossing, an 87-acre business park, will house commercial, industrial and residential. The land is being divided into five and 10-acre sites to attract warehouse-distribution operations needing quick access to US 321.
