Nelsen will be "applying his extensive development management background to identifying growth opportunities," says Leah Segawa, a CarrAmerica managing director. Prior to signing up with CarrAmerica, Nelsen was vice president at Costa Mesa, CA-based Polygon Development Co. where he oversaw commercial development.
CarrAmerica Development currently has several million sf in development across the county, and to date has completed more than 18 million sf nationwide. The company currently holds interests in more than 20 properties throughout the Bay Area.
