National Multi Housing Council VP Appointed to Develop Tech Focus for BRE

WASHINGTON, DC-NMHC’s vice president of housing and finance for the last three years has been appointed to serve as senior vice president of technology initiatives for BRE Properties, Inc. as of Dec. 1, 2000. He will be responsible for all of the stages of creating to developing business plans for technologies for the multifamily housing arm of the industry. For this role he will be able to draw on his experience working with the NMHC Technology Forum.

Lefkovits had been working with the Technology Forum analyzing technological products and services. Over the years he has researched and assessed broadband, e-procurement, e-payment and online listing services. Back in 1988, he had worked as a photojournalist working to innovate beta testing of high-speed data transmission, digital imaging and transmission technology for Kodak, Fuji and Sony.
