The new 175,000-sf building is an almost identical copy of the first building, now up and operating at the site. Occupancy began last year, and is almost 100% leased at 20800 Civic Center Dr.
A third, five-story building is planned. The time frame is not yet ready, says Scott Wortman, vice president of development of REDICO, based here.
Wortman said he did not want to discuss rates or the cost of development. Office vacancy rates have been running at about 6.4% in the city for Class A space, according to Signature Associates data. Lease rates are at about $25.52 per sf, according to Cushman and Wakefield data.
