The company sees Raleigh, Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Charlotte as a single, growing metropolitan area. Cindy Christopher and Mark Caudill will head up the Triad operation.
A revitalization program in Downtown Winston-Salem is one of the reasons Commercial Carolina has chosen to establish an office here, according to Christopher. Current activity includes plans for a technology park, an entertainment district and more class A office space.
During the summer, Carolina Commercial opened an office in Charleston, SC and plans to open others in Greenville and Columbia, SC. The Piedmont Triad, consisting mainly of Winston-Salem, Greensboro and High Point, is situated on a curve between Charlotte and Research Triangle Park.
