iBuilding says it is creating the industry's first "building operating system" to connect owners, managers and tenants. The Internet-based system is geared toward making buildings "smarter," and streamlining space-management.

Brown comes to iBuilding after serving as a senior managing director at Tishman Speyer Properties. Hartung climbs aboard after serving as senior research analyst at Banc of America Securities. Milani previously was chief Internet strategist with Times Mirror Publishing.
