Construction is under way on the building, which is expected to be ready for occupancy in June 2001. The rental rate at Brookside Concourse is $21.50 per sf.
Agilent Technologies, a spin-off of Hewlett-Packard, plans to set up a sales office in the Brookside space. The now independent company, headquartered in Palo Alto, CA, went public last November with a $2.1 billion initial public offering. The firm's major business is tests and measurements for circuitry in the technology industry.
The 45-acre Brookside Concourse is being developed by the Alter Group based in Chicago. Plans for the project include a total of seven buildings with more than 550,000 sf of office space. Three buildings are currently completed.
