Several large commercial realtors and brokers in the Seattle area are currently testing the company's "LiveTour" software, which is scheduled for a Dec. 1 release after fine-tuning.
To use the software, real estate agents compile all of the property data, including an unlimited number of digital images, and upload the files to the LiveTour website's database. Clients can then log on to the site and be walked through available properties by the agent, thanks to voice-over IP capabilities, can answer questions in real time as they arise.
Mike Hayes, CEO for URreal, says the software will save both agents and clients time and money. "I was talking with one real estate agent here who had people arrive from Toronto and New York to look at a selection of eight properties, none of which ultimately met their needs," says Hayes. "That agent now has a better understanding of his clients' needs, but it was a very painful experience for everyone to have to go through.
"Being able to incorporate this media and be connected instantly with clients is a key thing," he continues. "It enables agents to get to know their clients and their clients' needs before they take that next step of physically showing the property."
