With the site approval, Chrysos Development and Management Co. of Royal Oak can now start marketing and taking reservations on half of the condos, says president Jack Hanna. "After we get 16 reservations, the design should be completed and we canstart construction," Hanna says.
He notes that Royal Oak, with Southeast Michigan's most dynamic suburban Downtown,is the best location for this project."We're centrally located between Birmingham, Grosse Pointe, Detroit, etc.,"Hanna said. "The hotel will also be a place for Automation Alleyclients to enjoy themselves while on a visiting business trip."City officials say the developers still have to clear a few contingencieswith the approval, including obtaining encroachment easements for theunderground parking, and obtaining building permits.
