Volkswagen Credit Leases 45,000 SF for New Automotive Financing Center

HILLSBORO, OR-The building will open officially on Nov. 6 with 50 employees, expand to 70 people by the end of 2000 and add an additional 25 after the first of the year. The center is ultimately planned for 218 employees.

HILLSBORO, OR-VW Credit Inc. is leasing 45,000-sf from CarrAmerica here for a new financing, customer service and collections center.

The new facility at 22823 NW Bennet Road will open next month following tenant improvements to serve 13 western states. Neither CarrAmerica nor Volkswagen could immediately be reached for comment on lease terms.

The building will open officially on November 6, 2000 with 50 employees. VW Credit plans to expand to 70 people by the end of the year and add an additional 25 after the first of the year. The project has ultimately planned for 218 employees.
