Bass Hotels & Resorts Names Regional Operations Chief

MIAMI-Bass Hotels & Resorts has named Frederik de Roode regional vice president for operations in the Southeast. He will also be vice president and general manager of the Hotel Inter-Continental Miami.

MIAMI-Frederik de Roode is a native New Yorker whose hospitality industry experience over the past 30 years includes senior management positions on three continents. During this period he was general manager of Inter-Continental Hotels in Paris and Maui.

As regional vice president for operations in the Southeast, de Roode will oversee properties owned by Bass Hotels & Resorts from Hilton Head Island, SC to Puerto Rico. These encompass 10 hotels under the Inter-Continental and Crowne Plaza brands.
