DST Realty will build a 227,000 sf productionbuilding and renovate existing buildings in a former rail yard alongSouthwest Boulevard and 26th Street.Plans had been slowed because of costs to clean up the contaminated areaand by an outstanding balance owed to the Hispanic Development Corp. byWestside Industrial Park LLC.

Under the new agreement, DST Realty will pay $1.2 million for interestin Westside Industrial Park and will cover the $580,000 balance owed tothe Hispanic Development Corp.

DST Realty plans to create a site for Output Technology Solutions Inc.,a bill processing company. Output Technology Solutions and DST Realtyare both subsidiaries of DST Systems Inc., a Kansas City-basedinformation processing and computer software services company.

The company will move about 500 employees from its current office, whichis nearby at 25th and Summit streets.
