Versata will reportedly pay an annual fee of $39 per sf for their new 75,000 sf space. The company hopes to add another 25,000 sf to its total when more space in the building becomes available.

The five-year-old company specializes in consumer and B2B e- commerce software solutions. The new lease represents about half of what comparable space would go for just a few miles across the bay in San Francisco.

Versata went public in March of this year. The company saw its value plummet soon after popping on the first day of trading. At press time, blocks of Versata shares were trading for around $16.00 apiece.
