The project,completed by J.E. Dunn Construction, is the largest beautification andimprovement in the history of the 90-year-old Jesuit University.Included in the project was the creation of an expanded quadrangle,complete with 93-foot bell tower, fountain and pergola.
Also, a new artgallery, the Greenlease Gallery, was constructed between Sedgwick andVan Ackeren halls. It will hold the university's collection of religiousart. The main entrance to the university was moved from 53rd Streetto 54th Street
